As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Risk Manager to strengthen governance and risk management across our project delivery portfolio.

Role Overview

The Technology Delivery Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across technology delivery projects and managed services engagements. The role will work closely with project managers, delivery teams, PMO, technical leads, and senior management to ensure projects are delivered successfully while maintaining compliance, quality, and operational excellence.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain technology delivery risk management frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes.
  • Identify project, operational, technical, commercial, and resource risks across IT delivery programs.
  • Lead risk assessments for software development, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP, and digital transformation projects.
  • Maintain project and portfolio risk registers and ensure effective mitigation planning.
  • Monitor project health indicators and provide early warning of delivery risks.
  • Collaborate with PMO and delivery leadership to ensure adherence to governance standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for project issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and dependencies to identify potential risks.
  • Support bid, transition, and project mobilization activities by assessing delivery risks.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and risk presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with client contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Promote a proactive risk management culture across delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project delivery, PMO, technology governance, project risk management, or enterprise risk management.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud platforms, infrastructure projects, and managed services environments.
  • Experience managing risks within complex technology implementation and digital transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP, PMI-RMP, PRINCE2, CRISC, CISA, COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience working with government, telecom, banking, healthcare, or large enterprise clients in Saudi Arabia.
  • Familiarity with Saudi digital transformation initiatives and regulatory environments.
  • Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
