Full-time About the Role
Our client is a leading UAE-based experience and destination management company with a strong track record of delivering large-scale projects across tourism, entertainment, sport, wellness, real estate and major destination experiences.
The Head of Projects will oversee the successful planning, governance and delivery of multiple client and internal projects, ensuring high standards across scope, timelines, budgets, quality, risk and client satisfaction.
The role will also lead and develop the project management team while introducing scalable processes, SOPs and project controls to improve delivery consistency and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall project delivery function and portfolio.
- Manage and develop Project Managers and Project Executives.
- Establish strong project governance, processes and SOPs.
- Monitor project scope, budgets, schedules, risks and performance.
- Identify delivery issues early and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure high-quality execution and strong client relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement across project management practices.
- Strengthen project reporting, controls and systems.
- Partner closely with senior leadership, creative, production and commercial teams.
Key Requirements
- 10–15+ years of project management and delivery experience.
- Previous experience at Head of Projects, Projects Director, Project Director, Delivery Director or similar level.
- Background in events, experiential, entertainment, destination development, tourism, exhibitions, real estate or large-scale projects.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong project governance, commercial, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working with major brands, government entities or high-profile clients is advantageous.
- UAE/GCC experience is mandatory
